Kate Lambert plays the upbeat yet emotionally fragile Ms. Caroline Watson on the TV Land's comedy series, "Teachers." The show's mid-season premiere for season three will debut on Tuesday, January 15th at 10:00pm ET/PT, and it will be the show's final chapter. The series revolves around a group of elementary school teachers who are trying to mold the minds of America's youth, but don't have their own lives together at all. Lambert, along with "The Katydids," writes, stars in and executive produces "Teachers" alongside showrunner Ian Roberts. Tim Goodman of The Hollywood Reporter said of her performance, "[Lambert] made me laugh harder than I have in a long time."
She is an actress, writer, producer and improviser. Prior to moving to Los Angeles, she lived in Chicago, where she performed in The Second City 101st Mainstage revue, "Let Them Eat Chaos." Bust Magazine called her "sardonic and spot on" and shorts in which Lambert acted and wrote have been featured on The Huffington Post, MTV, The Onion, Cosmopolitan, MoveOn.Org, Feministing and College Humor.
She has done voiceover work for American Dad, appeared on "The Today Show" and "Last Call with Carson Daly" and has performed at festivals, and theaters across the country including EW Popfest, TBS Just for Laughs, Upright Citizens Brigade in New York and Los Angeles, and La Jolla Playhouse. She is an alumna of The Second City Touring Company and iO Chicago.
