Katy Colloton stars as the narcissistic Ms. Chelsea Snap on TV Land's hit comedy series, "Teachers.". The series, based on the hit web series of the same name, revolves around five elementary school teachers who are trying to mold the minds and lives of America's youth, even though they really don't seem to have their own lives together at all. Colloton along with "The Katydids," writes, stars in and executive produces "Teachers" alongside show runner Ian Roberts.
Colloton received her B.A. in theater and psychology from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN. After college, Katy moved to Chicago, where she performed with the Second City House Ensemble, iO Chicago, The Playground Theater and The Annoyance Theatre. She was selected to perform her solo material at Just For Laughs Chicago, appeared in the award-winning Vimeo series, "Break-ups" and TimeOut Chicago called her the "breakout" performer at the 2013 Chicago Sketch Comedy Festival.
Katy has appeared on "Corporate", "Last Call with Carson Daly", and "@midnight." Additionally Katy has developed TV for NBC Universal and a feature with Bluegrass Films and Scott Stuber.
