Katy Colloton stars as the narcissistic Ms. Chelsea Snap on TV Land's comedy series, "Teachers." The show's mid-season premiere for season three will debut on Tuesday, January 15th at 10:00pm ET/PT, and it will be the show's final chapter. The series revolves around a group of elementary school teachers who are trying to mold the minds of America's youth, but don't have their own lives together at all. Colloton along with "The Katydids," writes, stars in and executive produces "Teachers" alongside show runner Ian Roberts.
Colloton received her B.A. in theater and psychology from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN. After college, Katy moved to Chicago, where she performed with the Second City House Ensemble, iO Chicago, The Playground Theater and The Annoyance Theatre. She was selected to perform her solo material at Just For Laughs Chicago, appeared in the award-winning Vimeo series, "Break-ups" and TimeOut Chicago called her the "breakout" performer at the 2013 Chicago Sketch Comedy Festival.
Katy has appeared on "Corporate", "Last Call with Carson Daly", and "@midnight." Additionally, Katy has developed TV for NBC Universal and a feature with Bluegrass Films and Scott Stuber.
